AI Pilots
Design and run contained AI pilots that prove value before broader rollout
Design and run contained, low-risk AI pilots that prove value and surface real adoption questions before broader rollout.
Overview
Pilots designed to produce evidence, not enthusiasm
- A pilot is a contained, low-risk attempt at a specific AI use case, designed to prove value and surface real adoption questions before broader rollout. The aim is not to validate that AI works in general. The aim is to validate that this AI, in this workflow, produces value that justifies further investment.
- Effective pilots are scoped tightly, time-boxed deliberately and instrumented carefully. The operating model is defined upfront. Success criteria are specific and measurable. The team running the pilot includes the people who will live with the result, not only the people sponsoring it. The end is a clear go, no-go or pivot decision.
- Pilots suit organisations that want evidence before scaling, and they fit well after a strategy engagement that has identified where AI is most likely to pay off. The deliverable is the pilot itself plus an honest report on what was learned, including failure modes and integration questions.
