What to include in a first message
- A useful first message is short. It typically names the organisation, sketches the work in a few sentences, and identifies the decision currently on the table. That is enough to determine whether a longer conversation is worth booking, and if you already know which service shape fits, mentioning it helps.
- If the question is exploratory rather than tied to a specific decision, that is also fine. Some of the most productive engagements start from a general sense that AI ought to be doing more inside the organisation, without a clear picture yet of where to start.
- The first conversation is usually where that picture begins to form. We will walk through the workflows in question, the constraints in play and which of the four AI operating models best fits each part of the work. From there it is usually clear whether a paid engagement makes sense.

- Nutropic AI is based in Melbourne, Australia. Engagements run remotely for clients elsewhere in Australia and internationally, and on-site in Melbourne where that fits the work. The practice is principal-led, which means the founder runs every engagement directly.
