Glossary
The vocabulary of the Nutropic framework
The vocabulary of the Nutropic framework: patterns, aspects, mandates, briefings, conversation types, encapsulation, and the related terms used with specific meaning.
Overview
Glossary: the load-bearing terms of the framework
- A framework is only as useful as the precision of its vocabulary. The glossary defines the Nutropic framework's terms with the specific meanings they carry inside the framework: patterns, aspects, mandates, briefings, conversation types, encapsulation, and the rest of the terminology the framework treats as load-bearing rather than incidental.
- The glossary covers six clusters: the framework and the four patterns; the six aspects; the forms of direction (open conversation, briefing, mandate, specification); the cross-cutting concerns of orchestration and governance; Partnership-deep concepts like the three-node model and conversation types; and the named anti-patterns of pattern misapplication.
- Each entry is concise. The intent is precision rather than depth: where a term has a broader common meaning, only the framework-specific sense is documented. Where a term is contested or evolving, the entry says so. The glossary is provisional and grows as the canonical documentation develops; terms are added when a canonical document elevates them.
