Stages
Eight engagement stages (Frame, Assess, Map, Allocate, Design, Pilot, Reflect, Handoff) name the canonical sequence a Nutropic implementation engagement runs through.
How a Nutropic engagement is run, end to end
Methodology covers the procedural layer of the framework: the eight engagement stages, the workflow mapping discipline that runs across them, the selection logic that chooses a pattern for each workflow, and the artefact catalogue an engagement produces.
Four concerns the methodology layer holds
The four concerns of the methodology layer
Each concern handles a different part of running a Nutropic engagement, from the stage shape to the artefacts produced along the way.
Eight engagement stages (Frame, Assess, Map, Allocate, Design, Pilot, Reflect, Handoff) name the canonical sequence a Nutropic implementation engagement runs through.
Mapping is the discipline that produces the artefact pattern allocation runs against. Two modes apply: mapping for cognition and mapping for specification. Each pattern needs them in a different mix.
Pattern selection is the procedural act of choosing one of the four cognitive patterns for a mapped workflow, with explicit reasoning recorded. The framework names the diagnostic signals, the four selection paths and the antipatterns selection routinely produces.
The catalogue of artefacts an engagement produces: charters, briefs, mandates, specifications, decision records, evaluation suites and the diagnostic instruments that earn the framework its keep in production.
